Our Falafelicous history

NOSH - verb

Origin: Yiddish

Definition: to eat food enthusiastically

Nosh is a small, casual, husband-and-wife owned restaurant in Park City, Utah, serving food inspired by the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean and Middle East. The restaurant was founded by Jason & Katie Greenberg, who bring decades of culinary experience and a shared passion for approachable, flavorful food.

Both originally from New York, Jason and Katie cooked in many different styles of restaurants, honing their skills across a range of cuisines. Jason trained at culinary school, while Katie began her career as a baker before branching into savory cooking. They met while working in restaurants in New York and eventually fell in love with the beauty and pace of Park City, moving here 12 years ago.

From the start, they wanted Nosh to be a place that celebrates quick-serve dining with intimacy and comfort, offering meals that are flavorful and satisfying without the pretense of fine dining. At Nosh, you order at the counter, and a server brings your food to the table, creating a fast-casual experience that's personal and welcoming.

The menu leans healthy, with plenty of gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan options, and features signature dishes like house-made hummus, herbed falafel, gluten-free fried chicken, and slow-braised lamb, all prepared in-house with care. The cuisine highlights the flavors the owners love — bright, aromatic, and inspired by the Mediterranean & Middle East  — while staying true to their commitment to fresh, made-from-scratch, approachable food.

Nosh is small and intimate, with no reservations, and is open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner, offering a welcoming space for guests to gather, enjoy, and savor every bite.
